29 year old woman developed bottoming of implants after breast augmentation. She had replacement with 400 cc silicone implants and reconstruction of inframammary fold (recreating the bottom of breast).

This 36 year old woman underwent breast augmentation with saline implants. Three years later she developed a leak and deflation of her right implant. Dr. Hobar easily went back in through the axillary incision and replaced the right implant in a surgery that took less than 30 minutes operative time. There was relatively little discomfort because the pocket was already made and the muscle was preconditioned to have an implant underneath it.

This 26 year old patient came to Dr. Hobar for a revision of her breast augmentation. Her condition is a result of the implants "bottoming out". While many things can cause this, it does illustrate that a surgeon's skill is far more important than the type of implant used. Dr. Hobar was able to revise the pocket of tissue that holds the implant and create a much more natural and beautiful breast shape for this young lady.

Breast Lift With Small Implant

This 28 year old female was unhappy with her loose breasts and desired increased firmness but with only a small increase in size. Dr Hobar performed a periareolar mastopexy (incision only around the nipple areolar complex) and a small submuscular implant to give superior fullness.
