Experience the Transformation

The reasons we age are varied and complex. Many of the processes that cause us to age are well within our ability to control. Some of the processes that naturally occur within our bodies are extremely destructive, one being excessive free-radical production. Free-radicals destroy cell membranes and DNA, the basic building blocks of our bodies. While this process is happening, another necessary process for maintenance and repair of cellular DNA may also be in decline.

We have found that diet, nutrition and exercise play a very important role in health and fitness but as we age, our superhormones that are vital to the body naturally go into a steady decline. These hormones include Human Growth Hormone, Estrogen, Testosterone, DHEA and Melatonin to name a few. With a combination of hormone replacement therapy, a comprehensive nutrition and fitness program and scientifically based treatments, studies have shown that people can live healthier and potentially longer lives.

Through quantitative measurements of your fitness, nutritional and hormone levels, we can assess your specific rate of aging. Dr. Hobar can then prescribe a comprehensive antiaging treatment plan for you that may or may not include Human Growth Hormone replacement therapy. The Food and Drug Administration has given Dr. Hobar permission to study Human Growth Hormone in normal aging adults, ages 40 to 65, who have low levels of the hormone.

Your initial visit to the center for anti-aging located on the 6th floor of the Baylor-Tom Landry Center, will include baseline lab work and an examination. You will also be required to have a fitness and nutrition assessment that will be performed at the Baylor-Tom Landry Health and Fitness Center, located on the ground floor.

If you qualify for and are selected to participate in the Human Growth Hormone study, you will then undergo a second blood test to assure that your pituitary gland is functiioning normally. This test is important because the pituitary gland is the gland that secretes Human Growth Hormone into your body. If you do not qualify or are not selected for Human Growth Hormone replacement therapy, your anti-aging treatments may consist of vitamins, anti-oxidants, herbal supplements, growth hormone stimulators, along with nutrition and fitness instruction provided through the Baylor-Tom Landry Health and Fitness Center.

As a service provider to the center for anti-aging, the Baylor-Tom Landry Health and Fitness Center offers four programs to our anti-aging patients. These programs range in price from $200 to $2000, and all include assessment analysis of your fitness and nutrition levels as well as private sessions with a personal trainer.
