Our free-standing facility, located in the
prestigious Landry Tower, is licensed by the State of Texas and is Medicare certified. In
addition, The Dallas Day Surgery Center is a member of the Texas Association of Surgery
Centers and the Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association, and is approved for
reimbursement by many private insurance companies.
Dallas Day Surgery also provides one of the lowest
patient/nurse ratios among day surgery facilities at cost-effective prices. Dallas Day
Surgery's one-to-one patient ratio establishes a caring and unrushed interaction between
patient and nurse, a feature that has not gone unnoticed by our patients.
 Landry Tower Hotel Room
Another unique aspect is our association with the
Landry Tower Hotel. After our patients have been stabilized, they may be easily
transferred from the recovery room into a nice hotel room equipped with a hospital bed and
on-site nursing care provided by Baylor Home Care. Because a family member or friend is
encouraged to stay with a patient overnight, all rooms and suites provide a queen-size
bed, bathroom, telephone and television. The Landry Tower Hotel offers patients and guests
a concierge and room service.
Dallas Day Surgery has three operating suites, a
post-operative recovery area with a view of downtown Dallas, the latest in medical
equipment and services, and a highly trained and certified staff.
Our emergency hospital is Baylor University Medical
Center, and all our physicians have privileges at Baylor.
